Why us?

Our Tutoring Centre No. 1 offers a return to traditional and direct instruction, a return to penmanship, and most of all, a return to textbooks and full transparency for parents of what their children are learning.

We have mapped a traditional home study program, specifically Seton Home Study School, onto a day schedule inspired by schools in Poland. A total of 10 -14 subjects are efficiently covered in 4.5 to 5.5 hours. We offer tutors that will assist with the material in the curriculum using the aforementioned schedule.

Seton Home Study School is an accredited and fully remote school, based in the United States, available to homeschoolers worldwide, whose parents have made the decision to educate at home in a faith-based manner. Seton Home Study School provides each child with textbooks and workbooks for all subjects. Full year lesson plans for the homeschooling parent are also provided.

Despite the incredible convenience and assistance that Seton Home Study School provides, many times, parents may have multiple children they are homeschooling. Providing focused time to each may become overwhelming. Furthermore, a family with one child may conclude that their homeschooler needs more socialization during the day. Finally, as the children grow, the difficulty of the subject matter may require the parents to hire a tutor. These are among some of the reasons we have decided to open Tutoring Centre No. 1 for homeschooled children.

The best of all worlds have been combined in our Tutoring Centre No. 1. Flexibility for homeschooling families, a concrete, traditional curriculum with academic substance, short and efficient lessons, socialization, and last but not least, educated tutors.
